OUR GOLF COURSE
Gympie Golf Course is located at the northern entrance to the historic gold mining city of Gympie and visitors are welcome to come and play a round of social golf every day in our natural bush setting, boasting undulating fairways and a variety of wildlife.
Gympie Golf Course is just 1.5 hours north of Brisbane and half an hour from the Sunshine Coast. Gympie is easily accessible via the Bruce Highway and is the entrance to the Cooloola Coast, the Great Sandy National Park and Fraser Island. Our address is 2 Shields Street, Gympie, QLD 4570.
The Gympie Golf Course is a well maintained 18-hole championship par 70 course. The total distance of the course is 5,560 metres with the front nine holes being 2,671 metres/par 34 and the back nine holes 2,889 metres/par 36. Slope rating is white 115 & Red 120.
With undulating fairways and tricky grees that provides players of all skill levels with a challenging and rewarding experience. The course has great pars and features water hazards on a number of holes.
Gympie Golf Course is located at the northern entrance to the historic gold mining city of Gympie and was opened in 1930. It is the home of Ian Baker-Finch, British Open Champion, 1991, who was the Trainee Professional Golf Pro from 1976-78.
